I just stated my 1st year as a PhD student at Georgia Tech in Materials Science and Engineering. Previously I graduated from Northwestern University in June 2016 with a GPA of 3.6/4.0. I also studied Materials Science and Engineering for my BS. In high school I did the IB program and took many AP courses.

**Also available near Georgia Tech Campus I've been tutoring for years and I love teaching. I like getting students excited about science and engineering. I tutored elementary school students from 7th to 12th grade. We worked on reading, math, spelling and study skills. I created games so the students could get engaged with the material. In college, I led science demonstrations for high school students, aiming to get them involved with materials engineering. As an engineer, I've taken math through differential equations, all of the basic sciences, and advanced engineering.

I love to hike, cook, knit, and bike. I like to get outside and explore to see new places and relax. I'm very involved in environmental issues and often volunteer with environmental groups. I led an environmental student group during college. I'm very interested in energy issues and the scientific/political/economic solutions to it.
