I earned a B.A. in philosophy (3.7 GPA) with a minor in literature (4.0 GPA) from Georgia State University. My background has given me incredibly strong interpretive skills, and has allowed me to become a very skilled writer. I am very well versed in the subjects of political philosophy (ancient and modern) and Victorian poetry.

Experience

I love watching young people learn and grow by helping them expand their minds through reading and writing. I am a firm believer that by helping students become better readers and writers, that they become much more effective communicators as a whole. Whether it's helping with reading comprehension or mastering the skills needed to write, my students always walk away with new perspectives that they were able to gain through rigorously engaging with the material and learning how to express their ideas through writing. I have much experience working with elementary school students to help them improve their phonetics and reading comprehension. I have worked with high school students teaching subjects such as essay writing, creative writing, and reading comprehension. I am very well trained in the art of literary interpretation and essay writing. My background in philosophy and literature makes me the perfect candidate to ensure that students can learn how to read, interpret, and write properly.
