Education

I have a graduate certificate in forensic drug chemistry from the University of Florida (2017). I obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of Florida (2016). I also received a B.S. Chemistry - College of Charleston and a B.S. Biochemistry - College of Charleston (2012).

Experience

I have worked as a research chemist for the past ten years in academic/government analytical laboratories conducting biomedical research. I have over ten years of teaching experience as a (1) Guest Lecturer for General Chemistry Honors II, (2) Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry Instructor, SAT, and ACT instructor for the Princeton Review, and (3) Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry labs. Over the past ten years, I have tutored for the University of Florida (UF) Athletic Association as a General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry tutor, UF and Sante Fe Community College Gen Chem and Orgo tutor, and CofC MSPS math/science tutor. I generated practice tests and quizzes, taught and reviewed lecture material during each tutoring session, evaluated student progress on a weekly basis and provided written/oral feedback.
