Experience
I began tutoring in 1999 and have tutored privately and through different organizations ever since. I have always had a passion for mathematics and have loved working with numbers since I was a child. This passion has led me to become a mathematics instructor. I also was a teaching assistant for a physics class. My time as a teacher helped me to develop my philosophy of education. My philosophy is that there should be a strong sense of communication between the student and the instructor. Not only should the instructor be able to recognize the student's needs so that they can be successful in their learning. The student should also be able to communicate easily and effectively with the instructor so that they may be able to pose any questions that they would need to help them achieve success in mastering their skills and achieving their educational goals. In addition to mathematics, I enjoy computers as well as other electronics. I also am an avid sports fan (particularly tennis and ice hockey). I also love to read the news and enjoy focusing on the economy and stock market. In my spare time, I am working on increasing my Spanish and French speaking skills.
