Experience
During my time at NAU, I served as as a teaching assistant in the psychology department. I taught other undergraduates, ran study groups, and assisted in lab research and demonstrations for both neuropsychology and psychology 101. As a Women's and Gender Studies program graduate, I received a multi-disciplinary education, focusing on critical thinking and intensive writing skills. This intersectional education has given me the ability to tutor in a wide range of subjects within the humanities. I can tutor in most all social science subjects, reading and writing comprehension, study skills, and test prep. I am able to tutor students from grade school to college level, and those adults who are returning to school later in life. I adore teaching and enjoy the one on one structure of being a private tutor.
