I attended Purdue University, where I received a B.S. in Microbiology in 2014. I am now working towards my Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am very passionate about math and science, and I seek to pass that down to a new generation of students. As an undergraduate, I closely worked with my classmates to help them prepare for our exams. While I am pursuing my Ph.D., I have been assisting individual undergraduate students in the biology lab.As a teacher, I believe it is important to customize lessons and alter teaching styles to fit the student's level of understanding. I am a believer in the importance of higher education, and I think that all students should have the opportunity to pursue higher learning in whatever they are interested in. Along with helping my students develop study habits, I try to teach them critical thinking skills, college and graduate school entrance exam preparation, and methods to enrich their own lives.Biology is my favorite subject to tutor, and I enjoy helping students develop a deeper understanding in it. With that said, I strive to help my students become better problem solvers in any subject that I teach. I find it exciting to further my knowledge in a subject, and I hope to pass that down to all of my students.
