Private tutor in Atlanta, GA
Brown University - Bachelors, Anthropology
I recently graduated from college and am eager to help others who are now facing the challenges I faced in school. I juggled my classwork with many extracurricular activities, including sports, so I can greatly help students who are currently working to balance their studies and extra activities. I just earned my bachelor's degree in Anthropology at Brown University, but my learning career is not over just yet. I will soon be pursuing a degree in law to help reach my career goal of working in the field of environmental law. During my schooling, I played on the soccer team and also sung in an a capella group. While in high school, I also held a position with my high school newspaper as the sports editor and participated in a varsity debate team. I believe that my extracurricular activities along with my school studies have helped me develop excellent writing, critical thinking, reading, and public speaking skills. When I tutor, I remember what it feels like to be a student and keep this in mind at all times. I am also very easy to get along with and pride myself on being patient with my students. I strive to not only help students improve their grades and test scores, but to also be a very understanding tutor!
