Working with students to communicate the importance of a high level of literacy is my passion. It's most important to me that students take pride in their reading and writing skills, vocabulary, and general abilities with verbal communication. Excellence in the area of English and Language Arts begins with an internal sense of appreciation for clarity of communication, and a personal sense of accomplishment in one's ability to communicate ideas with eloquence. My primary areas of study are persuasive writing, analytical writing, creative writing, literary analysis, and historical literature, with a particular focus on Shakespeare and Early/Middle English.
