Ana V.
Private tutor in Atlanta, GA
Education
I am currently a Junior at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. I am majoring in Political Science with a concentration in International affairs and minoring in Film and Video. I also have an Associate's in General Studies of Business. One of my goals in life is to have the opportunity to work for an International Organization who in turn works for an important cause and be part of a team who focuses on creating awareness.
Experience
I am originally from Colombia. I came to the United States when I was 11 years old. I have always maintained my reading, writing and speaking Spanish skills. I have worked with Hispanic kids from kindergarten to fifth grade for over 5 years. My previous jobs have also involved working in customer service in multicultural atmospheres. I love being a Spanish tutor because it is a very exciting job that motivates people to become a better version of themselves not just on a personal level but also on a professional one. I can also persuade people to realize that knowing two languages will give them a global advantage in whatever career they choose to major in.

I love volunteering with animals and doggy-sitting or cat-sitting whenever possible. I also enjoy exercising and listening to music from different countries and traveling when time allows in order to get out of my comfort zone.
