After 10 years in the classroom, I moved into photography and filmmaking full time, which has taken me around the world numerous times and allowed me to work on exciting projects, including work with The Discovery Channel. I've raised two daughters, each of whom are well rounded and academically successful and with whom I maintain very close relationships as they move into adulthood. I'm very youthful and energetic, with interests ranging from skiing, rock climbing, and mountain biking to playing guitar and keeping up with new musical trends. I'm a published author and media specialist. I've traveled extensively in North America and overseas and I recently spent 3 months traveling in Europe, which allowed me to further my efforts in Spanish and French language. I care about and enjoy young people. My approach is generally energetic but focused, humorous and yet challenging. I help students set new goals and then push them to give it their best effort.
