Hobbies
I love teaching, and I love to work with children of all ages, as well as young adults. With high school-college age students I specialize in creative writing using my experience in the world of Spoken Word/Slam Poetry to make reading and writing cool and appealing. Beyond the educational value of this art form for literary skills, I truly believe in its power as an empowering and healthy creative outlet. I have seen so many of my students have profound transformations and bloom into new-found confidence and direction through the process of telling their own stories.
