I received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Spelman College in Atlanta GA in 2008. I received my Master of Arts degree at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA in the area of Special Education General Curriculum. I just completed my Juris Doctor at Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA in May of 2015.
Experience
I taught at Atlanta Public Schools where I served as a Special Education Teacher from 2009-2012 school year. I also served as a Saturday School Instructor, homebound instructor and a summer school teacher each year. I served as a Long Term Substitute Teacher from January to May of 2014 in the Recovery School district of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My last teaching job was with East Baton Rouge Parish School System where I served as the Lead Special Education Teacher from December 2014 to May 2015.
