I have tutored both privately and for a company. The company I worked with mainly dealt with ESE students that were really struggling in school. I helped my students catch up in their classes and better understand what they were working on. It was great experience. I understand what it was like to struggle in school and can emphasize with the students when they are having a hard time. It helps to have someone who was in a similar experience help you through school.
