I am currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology, but my interests truly range through many disciplines. I enjoy pondering large philosophical questions, as well as exploring current innovations in technology and science. I enjoy working with students who share similar interests! As an educator, I like helping people break down challenging problems. I help my students develop learning strategies so that their educational institutions can work for them. Coursework can sometimes be daunting, and I strive to make it simple. I am grateful for various teaching opportunities that I have had. I have taught in diverse settings as a tutor. I enjoy working with various populations of people from different areas around the U.S. I also have professional experience as a classroom teacher and as a counselor. My work in these different service roles has helped me construct a conversational and relaxed teaching style. I consider myself an experienced and approachable teacher. If you share these philosophies or interests, I would be happy to support you in reaching your academic goals! A one-to-one tutoring session is a great way to get the support you need. Personally, I love talking with people and learning from their interests and abilities. I also enjoy reading and writing.

I love reading and writing, and try to spend as much time as possible outside (e.g. camping, hiking, swimming). I also enjoy any time I'm able to spend with my friends, including my dog, Simone.
