Emory University - BS, Environmental Science , Emory University - MPH, Environmental Health

I attend Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where I am working on a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. I am also on my way to earning a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health. For over half a decade, I have assisted elementary through high school aged students with improving their mathematics and writing skills. I most enjoy teaching algebra and the sciences, but I also am knowledgeable in calculus, statistics, Korean, and English. My approach involves garnering a sense of appreciation in students towards the material I am delivering. I want to ensure a sense of understanding in those I instruct. Once motivation occurs, full engagement can take place and facilitate the absorption of subject matter. Thus, learning happens.I am a musician who enjoys playing the violin and the ukulele. I like to express my creativity through painting. Additionally, I tend to stay active through rock climbing.
