I graduated from Morris Brown College, where I obtained a B.A. in Sociology, focusing on urban studies and race. Following my graduation, I attended graduate school at Georgia State University. Since finishing my studies, I have been working as a manager for a national nonprofit organization. I have worked as a tutor for elementary schools, as well as an after school coordinator.I am very passionate about teaching writing, reading, language arts, social studies, and English. I believe that success is rewarded to those who work hard in academia. Everyone is able to learn and succeed in the classroom, but some need a little more support in order to achieve greatness.I help tutor reading, writing, phonics, English grammar, social studies, geography, and essay editing. I am also able to help students who want to improve their public speaking. When I am outside of the classroom, I like listening to live music, doing arts and crafts, and traveling.
