I have over 4 years of English tutoring/teaching experience covering all aspects of English including grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, writing, reading comprehension, phonics, essay writing, language arts, SAT reading and writing prep., and American and English literature. Students have ranged from kindergarten through graduate school, and they come from all backgrounds and academic abilities. A self-confessed "geek," I have always loved learning and teaching others. My GPA as an undergraduate student in psychology was a 3.1 and as a master's degree student in organizational psychology was a 3.67. I was also elected "Student Editor" at the Association of Psychological Science, and have won awards and given press in the arts.

When I'm not tutoring or painting you can find me training for a 10K, playing tennis or reading a book. I also love to travel and want to see many more parts of the world! I have been all over Europe, Southeast Asia, Central America and the Caribbean but my dream is to do a safari in South Africa and visit several countries in South America.
