ExperienceMy tutoring sessions focus on different skill levels meaning I know how to work with honor students as well as students in need of the basics. I also work on specific areas of a broader subject. I tutor English, scholarly composition, exam practice, project organization, and reasoning. I am able to assist with global religious studies as well as global political studies. Reading, composition, and verbal capabilities qualify as specialties. I earned a 99th percentile ranking on the GRE verbal exam.I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and attend the Georgia State University (GSU) M.A. program, where I study political philosophy. I teach Philosophy 1010: Critical Thinking to undergraduate students. Before GSU, I went to Sarah Lawrence where I offered one-on-one help to high school students, pro-bono. I also attended the University of Oxford, Wadham College. My tutoring experience involves working with a whole range of ages. AmeriCorps placed me in a Brooklyn public elementary school via their program City Year: New York. Right now, I serve as the instructor of record for forty GSU undergraduates ranging in age from late teens to late thirties.Boxing, playing basketball, reading, and improving my Spanish abilities occupy my time when not in the classroom.
