University of Maryland - BS, Physics

I am a tutor with extensive experience in studying and teaching Math. Since recently graduating in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Physics, I began my postgraduate work teaching Algebra in Baltimore, MD. I enjoy teaching students about Math at the elementary, middle school, high school, and at the university level. My specialty is using examples from the real world to help students understand mathematical concepts.  In addition to all levels of Algebra, I am also experienced at Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, Statistics, Trigonometry, Physics, GRE, GRE Quantitative, and Science, as well as SAT Mathematics, SAT test prep, and Graduate test prep. My educational path took me from earning a Bachelor of Science in Physics at the University of Maryland, to teaching Algebra in middle school at the 8th grade level.Math is the language we use to describe the world around us, and I have loved every minute of teaching people about Math. In my free time, I enjoy going to the theater, sewing, learning about tech, robots, and urban farming.
