In order to teach students well, I will spend time during our first few meetings to focus on figuring out where students are in their academics. I also use this time to determine the optimal method of teaching them. From there, I mold my teaching style around their learning style. I find this to be the best way to make progress on more difficult subjects and concepts.I have tutored students for more than 10 years. I have been tutoring since I was an undergraduate in Atlanta, Georgia at Morehouse College, where I received my bachelor's degree in Finance. After completing my undergraduate studies, I attended the University of Florida, where I earned my master's degree in business with an emphasis in finance. Since then, I have worked as a financial analyst and accountant. My profession allows me to use arithmetic and math skills on a daily basis. Because of this, I feel comfortable tutoring students in many different areas of math, including elementary and middle school math, algebra, geometry, accounting, and business.In my free time, I enjoy putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading novels, and watching sports.
