Private tutor in Atlanta, GA
Indiana University - B.S., Elementary Education , University of Georgia - M. Ed., Educational Administration and Policy
I am an elementary school tutor, working with third to fifth graders. I've taught at the fifth and sixth grade levels. Working with my students is fun and I even like to instruct in different ways so I cater to not just specific learning needs but a student's interests. I help with elementary and middle school math including subjects such as algebra and geometry. Grammar, phonics, reading, and writing are important topics I also tutor in. I provide summer tutoring as well. I am always excited about meeting new students and helping them along on their academic journey. An Indiana University graduate, I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I earned a master's degree in Educational Administration and Policy as well, while at the University of Georgia. Six years ago, I moved from Indiana to Georgia and have not regretted a single minute of my decision. I love to work with new students and those I teach in school. It's great to experience their growth first hand and be a pivotal element in that process. In my spare time, I love to go running, play the guitar, immerse myself in music, exercise, and be with my friends.
