Private tutor in Atlanta, GA

University of Maryland, College Park - BS, Computer Engineering , Emory University - MBA, Finance

Hi, I'm Darien. I have four years of experience in tutoring math. I am available to help with algebra 1 and 2, pre-calculus, calculus, geometry, and statistics. I can also help you prepare for the math section of the PSAT or SAT. I can work with high school and college students. My tutoring style includes using a three step method. First, I determine what the student is struggling with. Second, I walk the student through practice problems step by step. Finally, I require the client to prove that they can complete a problem on their own. If a student isn't comfortable with the final step, we just work on practice problems until he or she is confident. I believe this method is the most efficient way to help students that are struggling in math.I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and Emory University. When I am not tutoring, you can find me playing and watching sports, working out, traveling, and watching movies.
