As a tutor, I'm often the first person to help students develop critical thinking skills. I take this responsibility seriously, and I love helping people develop skills they can utilize for their whole lives. I'm also dedicated to pedagogical mastery. I've had opportunities to teach at several universities and various different departments, and I have honed my teaching skills during this time. I've high standards my students, and a push them to achieve, but I also encourage open communication allowing students to present their own voice and perspective on how they approach learning. I want students to enjoy learning and challenge their knowledge, and I want to help them become better writers as well. I can tutor students in essay writing, essay editing, English grammar and syntax, literature, comparative literature, and others. I can also help students prepare for the reading, writing, and English portions of the ACT, SAT, and other standardized assessment exams. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, ballet, tap dance, reading, writing, bluegrass music, photography, art, culture, cooking, and others.
