EducationEmory University - BS, Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology
ExperienceI'm currently attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, I'm looking forward to a career as a dentist. I attended Emory University for a bachelor's degrees in biology and neuroscience. As a tutor, I love to work with students of all ages and ability, in particular middle school and high school students. I believe students learn best from tutors who have exceptional knowledge of the subject. When I work with students, I guide them through the process to solve problems, and I explain the concepts needed to problems along the way. I then allow students to solve problems on their own with my guidance. I let students dictate the way that they solve problems, because there many approaches one can use and every student is different. The important part is that students develop problem-solving skills, which set them up for success in the current course and in their future academic careers. I also work alongside students and their parents whenever possible to ensure that my lesson plans are catered to the needs of the student. My goal is to help students become confident and motivated so that they can achieve success.
HobbiesI enjoy running, swimming, video games, cooking, community service, and helping others whenever I can.
