Education

University of Texas at Arlington - BS, Microbiology

Experience

I attended UT - Arlington for a bachelor's degree in microbiology. As a tutor, I have several years of experience working with students individually, in groups, and online. I worked with students of all ages and levels of ability to help them experience success. I love math, and I love helping students develop problem-solving skills. My tutoring specialties include science and math topics. When I work with a student, the first thing I like to do is assess their level so that I can build from there. I also focus on building a comfortable learning environment so students are able to focus on learning. I can tutor students in algebra one, algebra two, middle school math, college algebra, high school and college chemistry, general science topics, and more. When I have some free time, I like to dance, listen to music, read, cook, and travel. I also enjoy hang out with friends and watching movies.
