I possess more than five years of experience as a high school teacher and coach at North Atlanta High School. Most recently, I have been teaching World History to 10th graders. Prior to that I was teaching both US History and Economics to 11th and 12th graders. I have a true passion for these subjects and a natural rapport with students. Additionally, I have coached baseball at North Atlanta for five years serving as the varsity Head Coach for the past two years. I thoroughly enjoyed having the chance to interact with the kids in a non-academic environment and would love to continue to coach a sport. I am a proud native of Atlanta with three children of my own. I have experience as a student, parent and teacher in both private and public schools in the area. I believe that working with young people is a calling and that truly good teaching is a gift that is instinctive.
