Education

I attended Haveford College my freshman year and transferred and graduated with a BA in English from Bucknell University. Aside from English, I studied Business as well as Theater. During two summers I did internships at the American Stock Exchange and at a Merchant Bank respectively. After college, I went into the professional of acting, where I trained at a New York conservatory and then spent a few years in Los Angeles honing my craft with some of the best teachers in the industry and continue to work hard here now. I have a few films I acted and produced that are now streaming on Amazon.

Experience

Experience: 6 Years Tutoring I am a graduate of Bucknell University with Wall Street Experience. I majored in English and had a Concentration in Business Management. I also studied Creative Writing, Philosophy, and Theater. I attended Haverford College my freshman year. I have been tutoring for six years and have helped clients improve their SAT scores by as much as 300 points and break into the 30s on their ACT Scores. I have had clients score in the top 99 percentile on both of these tests. Clients of mine have been accepted into such colleges as Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Lafayette, Bucknell University, Bard College, and Hamilton College to name a few. I also have much experience in tutoring the ISEE, HSPT, and SSAT. In terms of all these tests, I have written my own curriculum and structured it accordingly for each student. I have worked out of every major test prep book and have previously worked for many of the big companies. With me, you will get above the quality of the big test prep companies and at a cost effective rate. No packages, just pay as you go. Additionally, I have extensive experience with Academic/Subject Tutoring for elementary and middle school students. I really engage with my students and teach them proper study skills and organizational habits that will help them complete their assignments much faster and smarter. I specialize in Math, English, History, and Science. I believe in making the process of learning as relatable and fun as possible for my students. I am the oldest of four boys, and as a result, I find my students and I are always able to get along great and the sessions can feel like hanging out with a friend, albeit a friend who is helping them improve their scores. I believe in getting to know their interests, favorite areas of study, and passions, as I can then relate the material we study to something that they genuinely are enthusiastic about. By making the material relatable and communicating it in simple terms, I am able to get many students to understand seemingly difficult to grasp subject matter.

Hobbies

I love anything that involves fitness and sports. I grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball. In high school, I discovered tennis, and worked hard to become captain of the team and a USTA ranked Junior, and had the privilege to play in college. During college, I also picked up lacrosse. Now, for fun, I box to stay in shape. I am also passionate about film and tv, and reading, whether comics, poetry, or novels.
