Experience
I want to tutor because I thoroughly enjoy watching students master difficult subjects and sharing their quest for knowledge with them. I have taught and tutored for some 20 years, teaching mathematics from remedial math (arithmetic) through algebra, geometry, and college algebra, to calculus and beyond. I also teach and tutor physics, biology, and writing. My SAT scores are 740 math, 690 reading and 680 writing.

Hobbies
I am very involved with the arts -- I write poetry, novels, and non-fiction. I love learning new things, and I am always exploring and learning about new things. I tend to be involved in social issues, and I have a strong commitment to helping students from low-income families get academic help at prices they can afford.
