Experience

I am a current student who loves to learn. I am on the pre-med track at Emory University, where I am majoring in Human Biology and Anthropology. I have tutoring experience, and I currently tutor my fellow university students in Spanish and chemistry. I also tutor local children in Algebra and other math classes. In addition, I perform volunteer work for an organization called Project Shine. I am the project's on-site coordinator, and the goal of the project is to tutor refugees new to the Atlanta area. When I tutor, I strive to help all of my students begin to love learning as much as I do. Along with chemistry, Spanish, and algebra, I can also tutor any math course ranging from basic arithmetic to AP calculus, other science courses, English, reading, writing, and others. I can also help students prepare for tests, including the ACT and SAT. When not studying or tutoring, I enjoy shooting film photography and exploring Atlanta and San Diego. I also enjoy surfing, backpacking, and hiking.
