Private tutor in Atlanta, GA
University of California-Berkeley - Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering; minor Global Poverty and Practice , Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus - Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering
I am a recent UC Berkeley graduate, where I received a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Global Poverty. Over the last couple of years, I have been a tutor for all ages and in every subject imaginable, from playing piano (competitively) to Engineering classes at the college level. I have truly enjoyed every moment of it! I find excitement in connecting with my students and helping them overcome the obstacles in the way of their academic learning. I try to be as approachable as possible and really build a relationship with my students. I prefer to tutor Physics and Math, but I am also quite adept at taking standardized tests, so I am willing to help students prepare for those as well. I also can tutor Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Differential Equations, Elementary and Middle School Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Anatomy, Chemistry, and Study Skills and Organization. In my spare time, I like to learn about the world. Anything odd or strange about it interests me. My goal is to help my students develop this same fascination that I have with the world within their own studies. I also like backpacking and climbing, reading, building things, and BBQing.
