I have an undergraduate degree from Boston College. I majored in Biology and was a member of the Honors Program. I was awarded the Brendan Connolly SJ award, given every year to a member of the senior class who is distinguished for the same characteristics of wit, loyalty, and love of books. While at Boston College, I worked with the Campus Ministry department and played recreational lacrosse. I also taught health education courses at low income, inner city schools. I was a Big Brother as a part of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program for 4 years. Following graduation I worked in San Jose, CA at Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph in the Office Social Ministries. I will be graduating from Emory School of Medicine in 2019. I am currently working with a Pediatrician in Suwanee. I have taken extensive biology classes and have conducted research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY and Neuroscience research in Boston. I have also worked on a community health project with elementary school kids in Harlem, NY. I am comfortable teaching various aged children and specialize in taking complicated biological concepts and putting them into simple terms that anyone can understand. I am patient and organized.
