Experience
In contrast with major test prep businesses, my approach is that every student learns differently and that there isn't one single technique that is best for everyone. Because of that, I use my own techniques in addition to the techniques used by the test prep companies. When it is time for a major test, my theory is that the students who do best are going to be ones who blend their own natural strengths combine with methods that have been proven to work through study. I help students to do that and find it rewarding to assist them in reaching their goals. As the co-author of the newest version of two GMAT guides, I have extensive experience in tutoring students for the GMAT, GRE, and LSAT. I have tutored for more than 13 years. Right now, I am seeking a Medieval Studies PhD at Yale University. I already have degrees in Medieval Studies and English from Yale, University of Glasgow, and the University of Georgia. I have been an instructor at those three universities, and have also taught at Oxford University, Wesleyan College, and the University of Connecticut. I taught history and undergraduate literature.I live near Emory University in Atlanta with my brother and a pouty hound dog.
