I attended Agnes Scott College, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Economics, with a minor in Mathematics. I've been a tutor in one way or another since high school, during which I tutored elementary and middle school children in English and math. Later, I worked with tutoring activities for students at the Global Village School in George, focusing mainly on math, diction, and English. During college, I continued my tutoring by working as a learning assistant in the school's Math Learning Center. I taught all kinds of math subjects, including statistics and calculus, during the two years I was there. I have a good time working with students at all different levels, and watching them as they improve over the time we spend together. For myself, I keep working on focus, persistence, and how to study "smarter," and I like to help my tutoring students with these, while focusing on the topic at hand. I am available to tutor in a variety of subjects around math, such as elementary math, algebra, economics, calculus, and more. I am also helpful for students who are preparing for standardized tests, such as the GMAT, SAT, or others. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and playing chess.
