Andrew H.

Private tutor in Atlanta, GA

Education

B.S. Technical and Professional Communication, SPSU MBA Candidate at GSU

Experience

Communications Supervisor at UPS Corporate with more than three years of experience writing and editing written content. I scored in the 97th percentile on both my SAT and GMAT verbal scores. I have experience coaching in the development of entrance and scholarship essays, GMAT and SAT essays, resumes and cover letters, and research assignments. My educational background includes coursework in journalism, research papers, persuasive rhetoric, and writing for new media (web, social). I view writing as a form of story telling, and love to share the approach of creating exciting narratives instead of dry, formulaic essays.

Hobbies

I don't have much spare time as I am working towards a dual-concentration MBA, but I love spending as much time as possible time with my wife and dog. I am also a thoroughly mediocre guitarist, and love to cook but hate cleaning up the dishes. When I can, I do volunteer work with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and the Piedmont Park Conservancy.
