Privately tutored SAT to an international student, tutored a student-athlete college student in organic chemistry, and taught a writing-intensive college-preparatory elective course at an international high school. Currently tutor elementary-aged refugee children in nearby refugee community, including privately tutoring a Nepali 2nd grade boy how to read (basic phonics). My SAT scores are: CR 650, M760, W670 (composite 2080). I am natively fluent in English, Korean, and Russian. I have also acquired fluency in Spanish. I have taken university-level courses in Spanish, French, Russian, and American Sign Language. As a pre-med major, I have taken courses in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, General Biology, Physics, Cell Biology, Physiology, and Biochemistry. An official transcript available upon request. I am currently looking for a job before I head into medical school. Personally, I am interested in devoting my time and energy to working with people and making a difference in their lives. I have enjoyed tutoring because I enjoy watching students progress as I tailor each tutoring session to how the student learns best and watching them grow in confidence through their improvement in school. I believe tutoring can be one of the most rewarding experiences.

Hobbies
I enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, snowboarding, etc. I also enjoy cooking international foods, especially Thai meals. Having grown up abroad, I have a great interest in foreign languages and devote my free time in learning them. Currently, I am learning Thai and Burmese. Otherwise, I spend my time reading, volunteering with refugees, and participating in church activities.
