Experience
I enjoy working with students with various levels and all age groups. I first started teaching in high school, where I had the chance to help children learn how to swim. Later in my life, I was given the chance to help autistic individuals. I have worked with students with a variety of disabilities in classroom settings, in their own homes, and even abroad.I have a MEd in Early Childhood Special Education. My coursework and experience centered around autism. I now am a certified special education teacher. I have experience teaching GRE preparation courses as well as college-level courses. I taught college-level courses at Emory University focused on writing. I helped students better prepare and research their college papers. I am flexible with my tutoring schedule and love to teach many subjects. Thanks to my unique education experience, I know how to be flexible and how to approach different learning styles, so that all of my students can learn and grow. I also use humor to help my students feel more at ease in the classroom and in our tutoring sessions. I work to help my students feel more independent and to really learn the material they're working on.
