Experience
My experience tutoring began in high school where I tutored elementary and middle school students in the core subjects for two years. More recently I have tutored several students in subjects such as algebra, anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology and am currently tutoring classmates in chemistry and biology. I have also helped many classmates with organizational skills and study methods. I truly believe the more confidence a student has in their ability to learn a subject, the more willing they will be to put in the effort to become proficient at it. In high school, I truly lacked academic confidence. I found myself easily overwhelmed by concepts, leading me to lose my motivation to learn and study. With the help of some amazing professors during my undergraduate career and hard work, I gained confidence in myself and discovered my learning style. I want to tutor because I want to help other students gain academic confidence and overcome any struggles they face.

Hobbies
First and foremost, I am a diehard baseball fan (Go Braves!). In my free time, I enjoy spending as much time as I possibly can outdoors hiking, running, or at the park with my dog. Sports have always been a very large part of my life. I grew up playing basketball, lacrosse and swimming and still love playing basketball when I can find a game. I am an avid reader and I love word searches, crossword puzzles and sudoku.
